How to shorten the sleeves of a long sleeved shirt

Being a petite woman myself, quite often I need to shorten the sleeves of my shirts for proper fit. Sometimes it is as simple as just folding by hemming a few inches. But sometimes, if the sleeves have a border, they can not be folded up just by hemming. Roadkill rescue – A dresser set glammed up again

This is a set of a dresser and two night stands I made over for a close friend. In fact it is really a roadkill rescue. Almost four years ago, when my friend and her family were moving to a different house, they had no intention of bringing this set along because of it's condition. How to remove rust

Yes, it is possible to remove rust from anything and keep it away in most cases. I will demonstrate on an old hammer today, but I have successfully removed it from quite a few other things in the past, like nuts and bolts, and garden tools etc.You need just one magic ingredient; white vinegar for this purpose. MCM night stand – a makeover

Today I have a double makeover for you, I mean same night stand with two makeovers. I found this night stand at my local Goodwill (its been closed down since) a few years ago. It was just the right size, I needed for my daughter's room, except for its height, which was easy to take care of.
